At a glance

Each branch runs in two parallel structures: a PBL trimester model (12 terms) for project-based-learning cohorts, and a Regular semester model (8 terms) for the standard cohort.

Branch registry

Each engineering branch shows its status. Pending branches — AI&DS, CS&IT, IoT, EEE, ME, Civil — will slot into the same views once their structures are finalised.

Tech domains

A single domain taxonomy spans all branches. Counts show how many courses each loaded program places into each domain. Zeros are shown struck through — a domain can legitimately be empty for a branch.

Specialisation tracks

Students pick one track and take its five courses as Professional Electives (PE-1 through PE-5) in Years 3 & 4. Each card lists the track's five sequentially-designed courses and the branches that can select it.

Science Electives

A common 10-course basket of Basic-Science & Science-category electives. Every student across all nine branches picks one course for SCE-1 (T10 / S05) and one for SCE-2 (T11 / S07). Each course runs at 4 CR / 6 CH.

Open Electives

Seven industry-focused elective streams, each a 4-course bundle. Every student picks one stream. The stream fills the four open-elective slots in the programme: OE-1, OE-2, OE-3, and the Management Elective (MGEL). This catalogue is common to all 9 branches.

Scope of this document. Consolidates Y26 B.Tech program structures for CSE and ECE, in both PBL (trimester) and Regular (semester) models, using weekly contact hours as the single currently-available metric.
Planned extensions. (i) Additional branches — AI&DS, CS&IT, IoT, EEE, ME, Civil — will plug into the same registry and views. (ii) Each course row will expand from a single CH figure into the full L–T–P–S (Lecture–Tutorial–Practical–Skill) breakdown plus Credits. (iii) Branch-specific domains (e.g. Thermodynamics, Structural, Power Systems) will be registered in the domain taxonomy when non-core branches are loaded.
Data model. A single BRANCHES registry and a single PROGRAMS registry drive every view in this document. Adding a new branch requires only appending two program definitions — no view code changes.
